was suppose to woke up early then school time as i have to meet pris, maple and jane at raffles at 7.30. in the end i woke up at 6.50. hahaha not surprisingly that three of them are late too. haha i got ready, walked to aljunied mrt station, took train to raffles then came out of the train to wait for them. they came out of the next train from tpy and we rushed into the train going towards CLEMENTI. hahaha once we reach clementi, we went to mcdonalds to eat breakfast and rushed to find the block that the association is. the floor was wet as it rained just now. maple and jane was walking behind me and pris.. dont know what happen, maple slip and nearly fall. and jsut nice, there were a huge grp of guys under the void deck getting ready to go to the community centre oppo. lol after she slip, she screamed and ran to us, leaving jane behind. paiseh.
we finally reached the HQ. they asked who wants to go to the child care.... pris and i raised our hands fast and at the same time together. hahaha lol soo jane and maple stayed at the HQ to help with the filing, entering the data entry and the packing the story books. :] while pris and i came over to the childcare centre with AIDA, our teacher/senior. haha she's pretty. lol we had to walked pass the grp of guys, cross the street to the next block to the childcare centre. the guys were warming up, when we walk pass them, they ALL practically turn and look at pris and i. -.- paiseh! lol think they recognise us cause we are wearing our uniform. lol
the first thing we reach the childcare centre was she brought us around to see the childcare centre. then we settle at the reception. she first taught us how to key in the comments given by the parents as the end of the year is coming. the second thing she teach me was writing the receipts for the children's fee, have to photocopy the receipt/cheque and file in. the third thing im asked to do was to print the label for the drawers. at about 12.30, pris and i went to the HQ to 'fetch' maple and jane over to the childcare centre and we went to have lunch at the nearby hawker centre. we took about half an hour and went back to the centre. we slack around for a while and took pics, will upload sooon. hehe jane and maple went back to the HQ while pris and i start to 'work'.
we went into the resource room where all the toys are. we were asked to mark the files, to check if non of it are missing. we played the pressing of the crocodile teeth before leaving the room to do other things. haha both of us were having headaches. sigh. lol after we come out, pris were asked to do and print something from the computer while im asked to print labels for the file. after im done, i was asked to help a teacher to print some student's lessonplan. after printing, i fill up the receipt for the childcare centre fee, photocopy, file and chop the account number. after that, here i am blogging. hahaha aida is super nice laa, allow us to use internet etc once we are done with our job. :]
i had lots and lots of fun. i have seen many many cute kids, from 2years old to 6 years old. soo cute. i'll explain whats autism...
they include:
1) a person with any forms of physical disabilities
2) a person who are intellectually challenged especially diagnosed with IQ of below 70
3) a person with hearing or speech impairment
4) a person with visual impairment
5) a person with other forms of developmental delay or disabilities such as learning disabilities, dyslexia, attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD, autism etc
overall i heard/seen lots of compliment. :] that they are improving.. knows how to communicate with other children and be more sociable, knows what to do once they enter the childcare centre. they become more bright and knows how to ask question rather than keeping quiet and everything. its as if the childcare centre is a second home for them. the teachers are so kind, patience etc. when the children are coming in, the teachers will stand at the door and welcome them warmly. so nice. haha
about 5pm will be leaving here. most prob after this, all four of us will be going to bugis - golden landmark to get something. sigh i will broke like crazy this week. hmmph anyway i will be more than happy to come back here tml to help again. learnt lots of things. SO FUN. :] lalalala hehe
